The A’s not having hit their stride went in at half time with a 28 to 7 lead. There were a few harsh words said in the changing room during half time and within fifteen minutes of the restart the A’s who were now playing the Raiders brand of rugby had scored three trys from Harry Short, Jack Metters and Jeremy Smith. The A’s were now 47 to 7 up and had secured the bonus point. There were performances all over the field, Ollie Luke was commanding finding his voice and demanding better from his team, Paul Dunkley looking good on his second comeback game but it was the shear pace and footballing skills of young Cameron Roberts that earn him the man of the match. This was the young mans first start for the A’s and was very impressive for such a young lad. The A’s complete the scoring finishing the match 56 to 7. A workman like performance and one they can be happy with but know there is better to come.
The A’s travel away to Esher next week looking to continue their excellent run in the league this season.
