Did you know that Worthing RFC is proud to have been the first rugby club ever to have started minis rugby and is currently the only rugby club running a Community Apprentice scheme that works with local schools across the area?
Thousands of people get involved at Worthing RFC and not just for rugby. The Club hosts everything including business conferences, weddings, car stunt shows, comedy evenings, football tournaments and fabulous fireworks nights!
Worthing RFC is also a truly year-round rugby venue, with rugby matches from September to April, Sevens during April and May, Summer Touch Rugby running from May to the end of July and pre-season training running from then until September when the season kicks off again!
There was a 30 per cent increase in attendance for Raiders matches in 2011-12. In addition, the Club runs two elite teams and four senior teams. Every mini and junior age-group at the Club has over 30 players, meaning thousands of people including players, supporters, parents, volunteers and members come to the Club every week.
