Brighton 2nd XV v Worthing Development

When most of the county was frozen out, the Development side travelled to Brighton. Sussex Bowl - Lewes 2nd XV v Worthing Development XV
21st November 2009

Worthing Dev XV travelled to Lewes for the second time in two weeks to start their defence of the Sussex Bowl.

Holbrook 1st XV v Worthing Development

Our arrival at Holbrook was somewhat fragmented as for most of the team this was their first visit to “The Holbrook Club” and it proved difficult for some people to navigate their way there.

During the warm up, seeing the size of not just the Holbrook pack but also their backs, gave cause to concern for El Tel. We had a relatively small side out and it was clearly going to be a forward’s day.
The briefing from Mick on Thursday had been “I want a fast wide game” oh how wrong you can be!
